Descripción del puesto

Position Overview
As the first-line owner of Mexico's supply chain operations, you will lead end-to-end demand & supply planning, third-party logistics (3PL), import/export customs clearance, and vendor lifecycle management. Benchmarked against the Netherlands warehouse management model, you will establish a localized supply chain operation: interfacing with HQ S&OP processes and local sales demand on the front end, while managing 3PL and customs broker performance and commercial terms on the back end. Your mandate is to ensure SAP inventory accuracy, healthy stock levels, on-time delivery per Customer Requested Date (CRD), and continuous Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization under full compliance.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related fields; MBA or APICS/CPIM certification preferred.
Experience:
• 5–8 years of supply chain/logistics management experience, including at least 3 years managing 3PL and customs operations; medical device or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience in planning functions (demand planning, inventory management, S&OP); proficient in SAP MM/WM/PP modules.
• Proven track record managing cross-border logistics and customs compliance; deep familiarity with Mexican customs regulations (COVE, HS classification, IMMEX, etc.).
Professional Competencies:
• Expertise in 3PL commercial negotiation and contract management; experience independently managing multi-million dollar logistics budgets.
• Solid knowledge of Mexican trade compliance requirements, including the 2026 New Customs Law (Previo en Origen), NOM-241, and GMP standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive decisions through Excel/SAP data; Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification is a plus.
Language & Soft Skills:
• Native-level Spanish and fluent business English (written and verbal); capable of presenting and negotiating with HQ in English.
