JOB OBJECTIVE

Support finished goods inventory monitoring and export tracking to optimize the bottling
production schedule. The main focus is to maximize line efficiency, minimize downtime, and
schedule long production runs to avoid frequent presentation and packaging changeovers.
III. Core Responsibilities
1. Inventory Monitoring & Export Liaison
• Domestic Stock Control: Daily monitoring of finished goods inventory levels across
warehouses in Mexico.
• Export Tracking: Review the status of international export orders and coordinate
product dispatch to customs or international clients.
• Days of Inventory Calculation: Assess tequila stock rotation to forecast and prevent
shortages in key markets.

PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION & SCHEDULING
• Maximizing Runs: Support the creation of a demand-driven bottling schedule,
prioritizing large batches of a single presentation.
• Minimizing Changeovers: Design a sequential production calendar that minimizes
transition times between different bottle shapes, labels, or alcohol proof levels.
• Downtime Control: Track and document line stoppages caused by material shortages
or format changes, identifying root causes.

DATA MANAGEMENT & REPORTING

• Efficiency Metrics: Update the daily bottling line dashboard (waste, cases produced per
hour, and overall equipment effectiveness).
• Material Readiness Alerts: Coordinate with the materials warehouse to ensure bottles,
boxes, and caps are ready before each batch starts, preventing logistics-related delays.

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Academic Major: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics,
International Trade, or related fields.
• Education Level: Active university student in their final years or semesters.
• Languages: Intermediate to advanced English (for reviewing export documentation and
international orders).

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Microsoft Excel: Intermediate to advanced level (pivots, logical functions, and control
charts).
• Systems: Desirable basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) or
inventory management software.
Knowledge Base: Fundamental understanding of inventory control (min-max levels)
and supply chain operations

• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Assertive communication and negotiation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
