Role’s Mission

We are looking for a proactive Accountant, reporting to Aplazo’s Controller, who will be responsible for the day-to-day operation in coordination with the Accounting Team and the external firm. Your participation will help us ensure our books are recorded accurately in a timely manner to provide valuable information to all of our stakeholders. You will bring a fresh perspective working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will play an important part in Aplazo's success, working directly with business and finance leaders, and will have opportunities to grow with the Finance team as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Day-to-day accounting and accounts payable activities
- Issue invoices to merchants and customers
- Review corporate card reconciliation
- Prepare accounting entries
- Assist in month-end reporting
- Perform ad-hoc reports when requested
- Conduct variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance.
- Review and booking of journal entries into ERP

Requirements

Must have
- Years of experience: 5
- Technical skills: Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance, experience using Google Sheets and Excel, - - - Normas Internacionales de Información Financiera and Mexican GAAP knowledge, Mexican Fiscal Tax requirements.
- Soft skills: Organized, detail-oriented, analytical problem-solving skills, flexible, dedicated, highly motivated with a desire to learn, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Academic background (studies or certifications): Accounting or Finance

- Microsoft Excel Advanced
- Oracle Fusion experience
