Assists in various tasks aligned with their field of study, including research, collaboration on team initiatives and projects, problem-solving, and creative thinking to gain hands-on experience and develop professional skills. Includes internships, research roles, visiting scholar positions, or other program-related opportunities
Management Level Definition:
Job Summary: Support the Customer Experience & Business Process Improvements team by blending business analysis, project coordination, and automation/digitalization efforts to optimize CX operations. The role focuses on identifying process and automation opportunities, driving small-to-medium improvement projects, and delivering measurable outcomes.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS FOR AN INTERNSHIP , YOU SHOULD BE CURRENTLY STUDYING and for at least the next 12 months IS MANDATORY TO BE LOCATED IN GUADALAJARA
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Design: Map current-state processes, perform root-cause analysis, identify bottlenecks and opportunities for standardization or automation.
Automation & Digitalization Support: Help scope, prototype, test, and implement automation solutions (RPA, low-code/no-code workflows) to reduce manual effort and errors.
Project Coordination & Delivery: Maintain project plans, track milestones, implementation phases and communicate status to stakeholders.
Metrics & Reporting: Build dashboards and reports (Power BI, Excel) to track operational KPIs and impact (error reduction, time saved, ROI).
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas).
Reporting & Visualization: Experience with Power BI (or Tableau) to create dashboards and reports.
Project Tools: Familiarity with Smartsheet (or MS Project), and exposure to Agile
Data Fundamentals: Basic SQL for simple queries and comfort working with CSVs/data extracts.
Automation Interest: Exposure to or interest in RPA/low-code tools
Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and collaborative teamwork.
Nice-to-Have
Coursework or certification in Lean/Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt), Agile/Scrum, or business analysis.
Basic scripting experience (Python/R) for data manipulation or automation.
Experience with CRM/CX platforms (Salesforce, Totango) and familiarity with CX metrics (NPS, CSAT).
Impact/Scope:
University students actively enrolled in a university/college/institution pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a non-technical area of study, and who typically works during school breaks and then returns to their university. While this applies to most interns, there may be opportunities for full-time students to work as part-time interns during the school year in some countries.
